Primary Areas
Ultimat or
Twist and Scrape are mat cleaning
products, and represent a good investment
for medium to large businesses. They return
their purchase price in lower cleaning costs
The choice of mat depends on what is your
biggest cleaning need; For light mud and
water the mat you need is the original rain
mat, the
Ultimat, which is built to absorb 7
square metres of water If you have a problem
with sand or grit the reinforced nylon coils
of the
Twist and Scrape actively scrub this
kind of dirt from the shoes leaving your
entrance clean.
There is also an economy mat in our range,
Marble Professional, which although it
is not quite as effective as the
Ultimat or
Twist and Scrape, it does go some way in
reducing your cleaning costs.
For the exterior, there is no real
substitute for the
Trap Mats. Trap mats are essential for
exterior areas as they stop any heavy grit
or dirt even reaching the entrance. Many
firms prefer to lay a length of
Fall Thru 12mm outside their premises,
the advantage being that the dirt just falls
through the mat to be collected on the
pavement underneath, where it can be easily
swept away once a month or so. These mats
are new to the UK market but are a huge
success in other countries, the equivalent
of a top ten hit in the matting world.
The
Logomat is rubber backed so that it can
be rotary washed either by a professional
launderer, or at your local launderette.
Designs can be directional or with your
company name/logo to help enhance your
corporate image.
All the other mats are PVC backed and have
to be cleaned, on site, by a vacuum or
washer extractor systems. Larger stores like
supermarkets or department stores usually
require a combination of matting
installations to suit their needs. For
entrance wells
Fall Thru Extra Duty Plus 18mm is the
ideal product. Any dirt falls through the
mat into the well below leaving the mat
surface looking clean.
Secondary Areas
The secondary area, known as the cleaning
zone, should be fitted with 'dust matting'
installed by fitting rolls. This area should
be big enough to allow a normal walk of two
steps from the entrance, which should be at
least 180cm (6') which ensures that each
foot gets at least two wipes on the matting.
We manufacture three grades of matting for
this purpose, supplied in rolls for these
installations
Counter Areas
Staff standing for long periods will benefit
from our range of anti fatigue matting, such
as
Stand Easy, which incorporates air
pockets into the mat, giving both a
cushioning effect and good traction.
Flex is made from sponge vinyl for extra
comfort.
